Sperry’s are cute for everyday where and maybe trips to the country club, but they are never appropriate to wear to work. They’re basically redesigned boat shoes meant just to throw on and get dirty.

I think you should wear Sperrys to work.I used to work at cc and their were like two girls that always wore theirs,and they were pretty hot and very attractive in their Sperrys.And be honest,what women doesn’t like feeling attractive.
And two,i have those Sperrys.They are called “Chocolate”.And i love wearing them cause i know i feel attractive when i wear them.

I’m always mindful of professional dress at work; although I’m surrounded by stretch pants,low cute blouses, jeans every day and flip flops – I WOULD NEVER!! I would like to wear a matching hat and boots with jeans on Friday (the only dress casual day for me). Would I be over-stepping the boundary of casual dressing? The office is located in a public professional building just so you know.

Sure you can. It’s nice to read that you’re one of the few people there who likes to keep yourself looking appropriate… even on Casual Fridays. I have a few colleagues who have worn cropped t-shirts, pilly sweaters, sweaters that look more like a snuggie, etc. It’s sad…

What kind of hat? A baseball cap? No way. A cowboy hat? Nope. Any other type of hat would be ok in my book. I like when lady’s used to wear hats in the 40s and 50s.
