Question–: What should I wear for dressy casual?
I have a company party tomorrow night that is dressy casual. I have the option of either wearing a nice shirt with a skirt or dress pants. Which do you suggest?

blah i dont like dressy causual but u shud wear like a small like long sleeved low cut unfancy dress with a cami and tights if u have time to go buy it if not wear the dress pants

Question–: What does ‘dressy casual’ mean for bar mitzvah post party?
I got invited to a bar mitzvah. But the ceremony is in the morning and the party is in the night.
For the party it says dressy casual but I don’t know what that is.
I was thinking a dress shirt without tie jeans and vans. But I don’t know if thats right please help!!!

Dress shirt and jeans would be good but I’d pass on the vans. Probably a proper leather shoe rather than anything like a sneaker. Also, a blazer might be good in case it’s more dressed-up than you think it will be.

For guys I’d say a suit, but the tie isn’t necessary; for girls a nice, not too frilly/sparkly/glamorous dress or a nice skirt & blouse. Jeans and sneakers would come across as a little disrespectful for this type of event.
