i have a grey /black dress and i dont know what colour scarf to wear with it. It is grey at the top and black at the bottom. What colour would suit the dress?

hmm, honestly, i think red. it sounds like a nasty match at first, but a bold color might look nice with dark shades. or if you wanna keep it simple, go with black since you say its only black on the bottom.

I wear alot of black and white, and I find that purple is a great winter colour that looks good with those! If your looking for something more “summery” I would choose a green or a yellow scarf!

JoAnn’s carries a yarn from Caron called Country. It is a merino wool blend. I think you should use either black or gray. It is a very fine yarn so you will want a rather small needle. I would use a stockinette pattern, BUT since stockinette ALWAYS curls you should add 3 rows at the beginning and end of the scarf in either garter or seed stitch. You will also need the first three and last three stitches of EVERY row to be either garter stitch or seed stitch. This will help the scarf to lie flat.

I would suggest multi color print scarf that has either black or grey or both shades in it -depending on the size there are multiple ways to wear scarfs -if it is sheer than it more manageable.

It would look cool with a pink and black zebra scarf. I wore that once for a Christmas party and I got a lot of complements! Look at the link below for an idea of what the pattern would look like.
