Question–: do you have a diet or nutrition advice?
i am a 40 year old male and my liver is damaged because of drug abuse and i could use some tips to improve my eating habits
my liver enzymes are always high when i get my blood tested and liver disease has caused my overall health to suffer
can you please give me some advice?

There are many forms of metabolism going on in your body right now, but the one everyone is talking about it the metabolism of fat. This is actually something that the liver does when it converts stored fat to energy. The liver has other functions, but this is one of its main jobs.

Unfortunately, another of the liver’s duties is to pick up the slack for the kidneys, which need plenty of water to work properly. If the kidneys are water-deprived, the liver has to do their work along with its own, lowering its total productivity. It then can’t metabolize fat as quickly or efficiently as it could when the kidneys were pulling their own weight. If you allow this to happen, not only are you being unfair to your liver, but you’re also setting yourself up to store fat.

The most recent scientific study, published in the journal Obesity Research, found that drinking at least 3 eight-ounce glasses of fat free milk in a day helped people lose more weight than those dieters who drank little or no milk.

Most importantly, milk drinkers’ fat loss, especially around their tummies, was significantly greater. They also maintained more muscle. so, drink your milk and water and eat a lot of fruit and veggies and baked meats and boiled meats like chicken and turkey ,i like to make extra so i can snack on cold chicken later don’t use bbq sauce it has sugar ,use garlic powder or lemon pepper season .eat tuna in water not oil,no mayo, mix it in green beans,all beans are high in protine low in fat,like pinto beans mix them with crushed tomatoes,do not eat fried foods,do not drink soda, do not eat junk food or chips,do not eat before bed, just eat well and do not eat small amounts or your body will go into starvation mode, just choose good foods, i hope i helped,

im trying to lose 2 pounds a week. i work out 5 days a week and burn anwhere between 500-700 calories a day depending on cardio. how many calories do i have to eat the days im working out to lose weight and the 2 days im not working out how many calories should i consume?

.To lose 2 lbs per week, your weekly calorie deficit must be 7000. That means each day (to average) you need to burn 1000 more calories than you consume. Remember, your body burns calories 24 hrs a day, so your exercise is “extra” calories you are burning over whatever your typical day would be like without a workout. An average person probably burns close to 2000 calories a day (it really varies depending on several factors, but that’s a ballpark number)…which means if they consume around 2000 calories a day, their weight should be maintained.

If you burn around 2000 calories a day typically, plus the 600ish you burn with exercise, then to lose those 2 lbs/wk you’d need to consume around 1600 calories a day (that’s about 1000 a day less than you burn).

So put your intake at 1600 and see how it goes. You never want to go below 1200/day without a doctor’s supervision. The more you workout, the more fuel your body needs so never try to starve it as a way to lose weight. Spread yoru eating across 6 small meals a day if you can. The more frequently you eat, the higher your metabolism stays all day (processing that food). Try to eat about every 2-1/2 to 3 hrs all day.
