Q&A–: Teach me how to walk in heels ladies?
So, I’m in grade 9 and my grad is on Friday, today is only Monday & I have been wearing them around the house for a while.. I really need to learn so I don’t look like a complete idiot on Friday! I know its hard to explain.. But any advice on it would help! (BTW, I’m really tall already.. like 5’7 and my heels are 2 in a half inches :$ yes, being tall is my insecurity and Im not that pretty either so any help would be just lovely!)

If you’ve never practiced, it’s very tricky. I’ve been wearng heels since age 11, so I’m a pro.
First of all, DO NOT STICK YOUR BUTT OUT! It looks horrible.
Don’t try to keep your legs completely straight because it will look funny.
Just relax into it. Don’t try too hard.

I don’t know how to walk in heels either and I’m 19

The first website is for the long term use of heels but this one gets right to the point and since you need to learn how to do this by friday you might find this one a little more helpful.

Q&A–: How do ladies walk in heels all day? I just dont get it.?
i try wearing heels to walk for an hour or less but i just cant! its uncomfortable n i stumble alot.besides, am always in a hurry and who can run in heels? Yes they give me that perfect lift bt i just cant handle them. Anyone who’s in the same situation with me or whoever wants to teach me the art of wearing them is welcome to comment.

I am sure its just the matter of time and habit. Several years ago, before i moved to a big city, i used to wear heels all the time. And it seemed i looked so much worse without them , and i felt worse too. Now – forget it. If i have to put on heels for going out – its such a tragedy lol

The added height gives you a longer, leaner frame, not to mention the killer calf line. Try platforms, they provide much better support and stability than stilettos.

I think sport shoes are much better. I guess those people have been wearing heels since they were young or something.

try flats or platforms
they are so much cuter
also, if your short take advantage of your height and wear heels only on special occasions.
Also, just practice walking around your house in them. That helps and it gives you a sense of balance

My job REQUIRES me to wear heels. I work in a office that is filled with beautiful womens who have legs up to there necks. SO therefore, in order NOT to look like the office idiot I wear them allllllllllll day sometimes 10 or12 hours. After a while, your toes go numb and you just do not feel the pain…lol.
And after a while it gets easier too.

i wish i could help u. i’m the biggest tomboy ever and the first time i wore heels i thought i’d die but it came natural to me and i can even run in them! lol i’m in a hurry all the time too. iono i guess just have confidence and dont think “i’m gonna fall” and maybe that’ll help
