Sure does..

Heels make a girl’s a$$ look better. Lots of women’s fancy clothes are sexy. Aside from that, we’re generally more interested in getting them undressed.

absolutely not! mix and match by all means, you’ll get more wear, not to mention more outfits by doing so.

EDIT: definitely go w/ black/grey combo. Its one thing to mix & match, but its another to try to match the the same color & its not actually a match.

Answer by Dani George
black pant/light grey blazer and no its not a must but its professional

Answer by Nancy Kay
Well matched black slacks and shirt, with a grey blazer would be a nice, sophisticated look and very professional.

Answer by TheHumbleOne
All black is as professional as it gets – and with a white, gray, or cream-colored blouse, it’s terrific. I wouldn’t wear two different shades of black though. Black pants or skirt with light grey blazer and a white or cream top.

However, you want to dress according to the atmosphere of the company for which you would be working. If in a managerial position, the black is good. Denotes station or “power.” If the atmosphere is more casual or you would be working in a large office, mixing colors would be appropriate – providing the colors are in the same “family” — like pastel lilac with deep purple or black, cream with almost anything – red, green, etc.

I read where you should not dress “above” your boss.

Answer by Christina K
You would be better wearing a different colour than wearing two blacks that don’t match. That might look as if you meant them to match, and that would be worse. I would personally wear a matching skirt and jacket if you can get one in time and you think the outlay is worth it for the chance to get the job. Think how much more confident you will feel in a nice new suit rather than something that might have been cobbled together.I always wear skirt suits to work as I think they look so much more classy and businesslike. Good luck with whatever you choose. XX
