My friend is having her party soon (may 2nd!) and under theme it says: “Nightclub (Dressy Casual)” Any ideas? Suggestions? Maybe advice for a good hairstyle, too. My hair is short and curly (below my shoulders), but i flat iron it. I have side bangs and lots of layers. Thanks!

I would change it up, wear a pretty cocktail dress (that’s appropriate) and leave your hair long and curly. Have fun!

You can surprise your friends by keeping your hair curly and putting it half up half down. Banana Republic has really cute, good quality clothes for cheap. If that is to dressy, then go with Gap/ Old Navy. Nordstroms has some awesome skirts that are really pretty, too!

Black tie is effing ridiculous.
Do NOT anything party-ish to the synagogue. I cannot express enough how much you will get dirty looks and can be asked to leave.
Do not wear something that doesn’t cover your knees, even when you sit down, or something that reveals shoulders.

When you go to Synagogue, wear a nice dress or a skirt that doesn’t show much skin and is appropriate. Do NOT wear a strapless dress.
After Party: Some party-like clothes! A fancy-er, shiny, maybe floral patterned dress or a cute skirt…
