Me and a few friends are going out to dinner, as dressy casual, and this is what I have planned out, but im not sure if its good?
-black and white argyle knitted t-shirt with a white blouse
-dark skinny jeans
-black flats
-black purse
-a heart necklace, have diamonds
by the way, please don’t suggest high heels or sundresses
oh ya, and im 15

I’m going to my husband’s 20 yr high school reunion in 2 wks. It is @ 7pm at the Sherton Suites Galleria. The attire says “dressy casual – wear your favorite party attire (or parachute pants)”. Class of 1990. LOL. Anyways, I”m not sure what to wear!!! I don’t want to be too dressy or too casual. What would be the perfect inbetween?

For unclear descriptions like that I tend to go with something like a pair of dark jeans, heels and a blazer with a fun tank top underneath.

A dressy pair of slacks and a chiffon or silk top.

i am with verona on this one. I would wear a nice dark wash pair of either straight leg or boot cut jeans, a pair of cool heels of some kind and top and/or jacket to go with it.
jeans say casual, but paired with a cool jacket, matching tank or sparkly tank and some strappy sandals dress it up a notch.
