I kinda sorta made this (view H) for a wedding I attended last weekend. However: I was a wiener and took zero pictures so there will be only a heresay account of the crazy problems I encountered, including all of my alterations and other maybe-not-so-hot decisions. Like deciding to use a semi-sheer printed crepe and lining it with a bleached cotton muslin when the instructions had ZERO help to offer there, and putting in a zipper instead of the row of buttons, and changing up the back bodice part like 100%, and cutting the top too big so that I had to include a big ol’ dart at the side bust so I didn’t flash everyone in a mile-radius. But I think it turned out all right, especially considering this was my first dress, ever.

I have a long sleeved dress shirt that apparently has no washing instructions on it. The label says “Poplin. 65% polyester and 35% cotton” on it, if that helps. Is it safe to wash and/or dry it in normal household washers and dryers? Or do I have to dry clean it? Thanks.

It is safe, you should use the permanent press or delicate setting. Wash in cold cold. Then dry on delicate. I have several of these shirts. I wash them all the time.
