corduroy dress–: Do you think this dress is appropriate for a funeral?
i already bought this dress for another occasion but i don’t know if it will be okay to wear to a funeral.

see i didn’t think it was good to wear to a funeral either, but my mom still thinks so.

the funeral is this tuesday so i dont have a lot of time to go out and get a new dress, so if i do end up wearing this one, i will wear a black sweater with it.

ya i agree. its a bit dressy. its very cute but i dont think it will lookd good for a funeral.

Only if you wear a black Cardi and black pantyhose!

Don’t go bare-legged or wear flip flops, this is inappropriate for a funeral.

um, i’m not sure about a funeral. it’s floral and technically a white dress…i don’t think it’s somber enough.

Ultimately, you may have all the colors on your list, but, any way I am giving you my views in response. Light yellow and olive green as you have been suggested would look really great with brown trousers.

White I would say, and wear any dark coloured jacket but make sure your tie, if you wear one, pulls in the colour of your shirt and your jacket (i.e. if you on a navy jacket, a tie with navy and white stripes is perfect). In terms of shoes, wear a light brown or tan, preferably brogues and your socks should be a little darker than the colour of your trousers (so a dark brown) or match your jacket (as in in navy if you go with what I have suggested). Black or white socks in this case would be a big no, also your socks should be a long length to avoid flashing patches of bare, hairy leg when you are sitting crossed legged.
