Took this portrait of Megan while we were out at Waterfront Park shooting some Derby-themed work. She happened to have some casual clothes in her car with her, and I told her to go ahead and put ‘em on! If there’s one thing I really love to shoot, it’s a variety of outfits–have on a jacket? Take the jacket off and show off the tank-top, etc., etc.
I used natural light infused with a small reflector to get that sharp glow in her eyes, held by my assistant. The shade–we were beneath a large oak tree–is awesome, but the light needed a little kick in depth. The shade in this particular instance tended to make her face look "flat."

Question–: What are some good casual outfits to wear with heels?
I still don’t know how to dress fashionably. I’m going to the mall tomorrow and I have these cute black heels with the platform. I also want to wear my heels so I can get used to them!

Just wear a nice top with skinny jeans then accessorize! You could wear a cowl neck top, a floral print top, anything will match, especially since it’s black.

Your heels sound fairly casual, so pair it up with a simple tank top or shirt with skinny leg jeans! It will make you look really tall and slender but also give you a really nice casual but i’m still a sexy woman look!

I think a jean skirt and cute tee works well as a casual outfit to wear with heels. If you wear your heels all the time you will find them much easier to wear.
