I would think a suit is appropriate for a white-collar job interview.

Answer by Ron L
suit. Overdressing isn’t a problem. Underdressing is a problem.

Do you know how they dress for this job? Dress nicer than them if you want to impress them.

Answer by Barry auh2o
Suit. Conservative business suit, Gray or navy (or closest to it you have) , white shirt, dress shoes, (shined) and conservative tie.
Bets of luck to you. Post us and let us know you got the job!!!!!!!
Look like a pro, dress like a pro and be treated like a pro.

Here is the thing. When interviewing for a job you should always wear a suit. When working in a job you should dress one level above what is recomended. So if the job is business casual than you should wear a suit without the jacket.

A suit by all means!

Answer by PARASURAM B
if you have a suit you should wear them , and depending of the weather there in your place. if it is the industry practice to wear a suit then you should be wearing them….

in india for middle management position , only ties are worn, whereas in Middle east , it is a must to wear a suit..

always remember that you should be very comfortable in them.. No for sports jacket for GM..

dont be thinking about your dress too much ..once u enter your interview hall…it is your prepared ness for the functionality and your intelligence that matters most …

All the best for your interview..

I have always worked in places which required me to wear casual clothes like jeans. But now on my next job I need to wear Business Casual Clothes. My idea of business casual is pants and shirts/sweaters… I have limited knowledge what else to buy or wear.

How many pairs of clothes should one have in their wardrobe for work? Dry cleaning gets to be expensive. Where to buy these from without spending a fortune?

Also I am looking for flat comfortable pair of shoes – comfort is the most important factor. Any particular store I can find these? I don;t mind spending money on these.

I am going to have to do the shopping within the next few days.
Any suggestions welcome.

my office is mostly business casual as well and I usually wear stuff from J. Crew, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Ann Taylor Loft, and sometimes Ann Taylor (they can be too dressy for my office). Nordstroms Point of View department also has some nice clothes. I usually get stuff from Caslon, Semantiks, Nine West. Macys INC Concepts Brand is also nice.

Ann Taylor Loft is probably my favorite place. They have tons of great pants, jeans, etc. that are cute and fashionable.

As far as shoes, i love Kenneth Cole Reaction, dansko. But it all depends on what type of shoe you are looking for. Danskos are the most comfortable shoe.

sorry kid. your mom doesn’t love you. that’s why she gave you your big sister’s 7 year old jacket to wear as a dress. if you were important to her she would buy you fur-lined boots and insulated asswriting pants. i feel sorry for you.
