No matter the color, you could do a lot of accessories because it’s kind of plain (in a pretty way).
You could do a statement necklaces that complements the color, or you could do some simple thin bangles, or large earrings, maybe even just pearl earring studs would look nice!
There’s really no limit on the accessories you could do with it.
For shoes, well for the tan color or cream or black, you could do bright flats or heels to give the outfit some more color. If you go with heels, get strappy ones. Those would be cute!
If you get the pink one, try to find some shoes (flats or heels) that match your skin tone to elongate your legs and not fight for attention with the dress.

I really like the nude pumps the model is wearing. Try either a nude or black heel. Wear with bronze or silver jewelry. If you wanna add color, try a rosy pink. (: Heels (with straps) or flats would look cute with the dress. It’s pretty plain but very pretty. Try wearing a long necklace with small earrings and some bangles, or long earrings and some cute big bracelets.

Or is it more for partying/ clubbing ?? I bought it a while back and have not had the chance to wear it. I was thinking about wearing it with teal pointy toed ballet flats (maybe even a cardigan over it with a belt to make more appropriate ) does that sound ok or should I look for something else ??

Its an old friend from middle school not an old boyfriend , we were close (bordeline BFF’s) I’m not sure where we are meeting I was thinking a returaunt/ cafe’ sort of place

I think the dress is more appropriate for evening casual glam, and not so much for daytime or for a fine dining restaurant. It does not necessarily have to be for clubbing though. I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to wear it meet an old friend, it all just depends on the setting. It’s a nice dress anyhow.

It a nice dress and perfectly appropriate. Wear a cardigan or a shawl with it and a pair of medium heel shoes. Flat shoes with a dress of this style will give the impression that you resemble a penguin when you walk.

Very cute dress! I think it should be fine. I’ve hung out with friends wearing similar dresses. The strapless look is definitely in this year… even for just casual-wear. So… YES.
